"A Letter From Grandpa Charlie is a war story, a love story and a comical account of how things can go "FIGMO" at the upper echelons. Hilarious personal accounts coupled with gaffes and faux pas at the national level makes it hard to believe that this is an actual account of one's life. The book is an outstanding and personal account of history and a moving story of love and friendship.
