Yes, America really does have an established Church, and it serves America much like the Church of England serves the Crown.
The American Church has separated itself from those parts of the Bible offensive to the leaders of the nation and its culture. It has thrown its weight behind the major efforts of government to create a totally secular order; an order that is essentially inclusive separate from Biblical separatism. The church does not challenge the State's claim of sovereignty over a submissive class of people.
The ruling government uses the Church to pacify the masses, to reduce opposition, and to provide a religious justification for all demands that the American government imposes upon it subjects, and other nations. The church is to provide theological support for any attack the nation makes upon a group or a nation that is seen as a threat to the American Way of Life, i.e. our interests.
The American church is to provide spiritual comfort for all those who feel guilty for the great material wealth they enjoy, often at the expense of those nations who have supplied the raw materials to American industry at discount prices, and their slave labor. In the name of separation of church and state, the Church is to be totally content with its role in supporting the American Dream and the American Global Empire. The goals of government and the goals of the Church should always be in alignment to avoid any open conflict-destroying the unity of the Nation.
Basically, the America Church is more American than Church. The Bible is interpreted so as to provide theological support for all the Church is required to do in its supporting role in American society.
