Twelve-year-old Finn has a passion: he draws comics and dreams of Magic City, a city where magic is real, populated by magical creatures and where powerful superheroes fight villains and monsters.

But then Finn's story begins to spiral out of control. His hero Dark Eye develops into a ruler of terror. Across the abyss of worlds, Finn receives a cry for help from the fairy girl Aylin.

He has to save the world he has created from the hero who is supposed to protect it, and to do so he has to rise above himself... To do this, Finn draws himself into the story and suddenly finds himself in a fantastic world that he thought he knew, but which holds more secrets than he thought possible.
