Description

"Water from the Well" follows a young boy, Jaylon, on his walk to his first baptism. Jaylon contemplates the nature of being bathed in the holy spirit all the while trying to avoid wetting himself before the congregation. Jaylon must hold back the avalanche brewing in his trousers while throwing away old childish behaviors on his way up the pulpit to manhood.
"You Can't be Serious" is a story about three criminals, Marcus, Duncan, and Arturo as they get pulled over on the side of a rural highway, The three must cover up drugs, open containers, and a mysterious blue tarp with undisclosed years of incarceration hidden underneath before the local county deputy makes it to their vehicle.
"The Regency" has Elise, a stern motel manager of a failing motel battling the negligence of an elderly guest, Mr. Walter who has outworn his welcome. Elise has to wade through the old man's recollections and deteriorating condition to ask him to kindly vacate the premises of the once welcoming establishment.
"Duncan in the Storm" follows Duncan, who has no memory of the night that leads him to be duct taped and handcuffed in the back of a police car. Resting beside him is a mysterious painting in the car driven by a not as he seems officer. Duncan must puzzle together what led him to these circumstances before the officer and him reach their inevitable destination.
