Holiday James always looks forward to the week between Christmas and New Year's. It's her one chance to get away from the hustle and bustle of her family's successful event and decorations business. The plan this year is a girl's trip to NYC to see the sights, and lights, and the big ball drop.
What her plan didn't include was being booked into a small town jail. Nor did it include Officer Hunky.
However…
Single police officer Michael is working the holidays – again. With no local family and zero interest in accepting pity invitations to Christmas dinner from his married friends, he's content to work and earn some extra cash. Besides, this year looks to be as uneventful as ever, until he pulls the cutest elf over for speeding, and learns that she's also wanted on charges of fraud.
Or is she?
Sexual tension sparkles between them within the confines of the empty police station. And as Michael begins to investigate Holli's claims of innocence, he discovers the truth. The holiday weekend means no one is around to help clear things up, so while they wait, Michael gets permission to take Holli somewhere warm and comfortable.
House arrest was never meant to be this up-close and personal…
