At the request of Catalyna Kriger, Eryk, Kari, Fay, and Lin journey with a group of Spiritualists into the Demon Beast Mountain Range. Their goal is to seek out unknown ruins using a map that Catalyna discovered on her last expedition.

But unbeknownst to Eryk and his companions, darkness lurks in the shadows, and the entire group becomes trapped within the Demon Beast Mountain Range. With hordes of Demon Beasts hounding their every step, Eryk's mettle will be tested in ways it hasn't since he returned to the past. Can he safely bring himself and the others back to Nevaria?
