Description

A Stroke of Help-A Stroke Recovery Journey is the story of Phillip Bell's recovery journey after suffering a hemorrhagic stroke caused by a ruptured artery in his brain. He takes you through the events leading up to the stroke and shares how God protected him through the stroke, brain surgery, and three grand mal seizures. Several months after surviving the stroke Phillip was continuing to struggle to understand why God allowed him to survive the brain trauma as many do not. That struggle continued until he read 2 Corinthians 1:4.

Now, he strongly believes his purpose is to share his story in order to bring hope, comfort and strength to other stroke survivors as well as others going through a health crisis and their caregivers.

A Stroke of Help is also a love story as Phillip's wife of thirty-seven years, Alison, quickly embraced the role of a caregiver for her husband, making decisions regarding his healthcare that were not always popular with his doctors, and turning to two non-FDA approved medical breakthroughs being used by God to enhance recovery from traumatic brain injuries by regenerating the damaged brain cells, restoring his quality of life.
