Those of the liberal persuasion learned if illegal aliens also can vote, they will obtain an electoral advantage by keeping the Southern border of the United States open. Perhaps I missed their real intent. It is as though they also favor unfettered entry for drug cartels, violent criminal gangs, sex traffickers, medically unsound, those unable to work and support themselves and dilettantes. Could they profit? Those of the extremely conservative persuasion have their own agenda of acquiring cheap labor, especially in the construction industry so that illegal aliens can be paid low wages illegally, under the table, and without qualifications or education. $5 an hour is better than $20-$30 and hour.This American made crisis is a real conspiracy of political expediency by both parties who not only have ignored the problems caused by illegal aliens in our midst, but who continue to obfuscate, circumnavigate, and frustrate the voters and taxpayers of our country causing major economic costs in the trillions (over the decades), subverting the wage bases of American citizens, allowing diseased persons to spread their afflictions among Americans, encouraging social upheaval and moral decay, burdening the American education system and frankly, getting hundreds of Americans killed each year.The insanity must stop and must stop now. We all are direct or indirect victims whether it be illegal welfare payments, hospital cost increases to cover nonpaying illegals, education costs including adding classrooms and teachers, dangerous drug importation, sex trafficking of women and children, documented rape of innocent victims that involve our children and grandchildren, or murder of American citizens including couples and individuals. Then we get to subsidize them through the various welfare programs including illegal subsidies through Medicaid loopholes. The U.S. Census is important to states for three reasons: 1) Number of Representatives in Congress, 2.) Distribution of federal funds, and 3.) Electoral College Votes. All of these issues are incendiary and worth all sides fighting over, not just for 2020, but going forward politically. Take distribution of federal funds. $900 billion is distributed from the federal government annually to the states and apportioned according to the census data. The money is used for schools, hospitals, roads, health care and a lot more. If even one crime is committed by an illegal alien, that is too much. Allowing illegal aliens to vote is the ultimate act of incomprehensible suicide for any society or country.
