The author is a licensed psychologist who also founded and presides over the Asociación Pro Bienestar Familiar De Villarrobledo. He is also the author of other publications, both self-help and psychosocial fiction.
The book follows the problem-solving procedure of D'Zurilla and Goldfried (1971) with the intention of increasing the person's knowledge about himself and facing the situations he considers problematic with large doses of self-esteem and coherence. Most of the exercises and techniques have been designed by the author himself, although some of them are quoted in the text by internationally renowned psychotherapists.
