Description

Henri Murger was a french writer and poet. His work is mostly inspired by the life experiences he got during his struggling period living in a Parisian street. Bohemians of the Latin Quarter is a reflection of what he went through as a desperate, struggling, poor writer on the streets of Paris. - Alexander Schaunard, a poor painter and musician, struggles to meet his monthly financial needs due to a lack of work and is unable to borrow money from any of his friends - At dinner in Mother Cadet's diner, he meets Colline, his table companion where they share the last stew available. - While leaving the diner, Schuanard and Colline fall into a conversation with a poet, Rodolphe. - Reaching Schunard's chilly rooftop room, they meet Marcel the sculptor and begin to bond up like ageless old friends. - The tale perfectly describes their struggles with money, work and love. - The tale of Rodolphe's association with Mimi and Marcel's with Musette, and the enjoyments, jealousies, detachments, and compromises that resulted gives specific solidarity to the book, which is, nonetheless, for the most part wordy. - The death of Rodolphe's romantic acquaintance, Mimi leaves a painful and depressing impact on the poet. - He ends up writing a book which becomes very successful later on. - Not virtuoso or not yet perceived at their actual worth Schuanard and Colline were reluctant to dedicate themselves to simple lucrative errands and thus kept on taking a stab at achievement in painting, music, poetry, or drama. The book is a paperback book with well-arranged illustrations and optimized for a relaxed and enjoyable reading experience. Happy Reading!
