Ancient Ireland. Dark Ages.
Setanta intends to head to Death Valley, inhabited by the Fomorians, to save Emer. A few days later, the Setanta detachment caught up with the soldiers who were carrying prisoners to be sold to the Fomorians. Emer was among them. Setanta overtook the enemy warriors and set up a cunning ambush. The battle was short and all the captives were freed.
Setanta and Emer returned to the war-torn Uisnech. Friendly kingdoms helped the city to restore its usual life. After which Setanta went to the Sacred Tara for his coronation. He needed to stand on the ancient sacred stone of Lia Fail. The stone should confirm the right of the chosen king to the throne.
After the coronation in Tara, everyone was preparing for the wedding of the young king and the celebration of Lughnasadh. The Arch Druid of Tara performed the proper prayers and rituals at the shrine of the god Lugh. Setanta and Emer became spouses.
Meanwhile, while the inhabitants of sacred Tara indulged in festivities, a boy was born in Connacht, who was the embodiment of Toutatis. And in Donegal, a girl was born who was the embodiment of Morrigan. In the future, they are destined to converge in a deadly bloody battle.
Fand, a woman from the divine Land of Youth, settled next to Tara under the guise of a fortune-teller. Setanta learned of this and often visited her humble hut. There the king and Fand indulged in passionate love. Emer found out about this and added a magic potion to the wine. She gave her husband this wine and he forgot Fand.
The newly-minted Toutatis intends to gather allies in order to conquer the kingdoms neighboring Connacht. He goes to the lands of the Fomorians to conclude a military alliance with them. Mortal danger threatens the kingdoms of Ancient Ireland.
