This book is an approach to such modern Body Armor technique with the help of state of the art technology using the most versatile element in nature i.e Carbon in the form of its allotrope Carbon Nanotubes whose extraordinary properties have caught the attention of the masses ever since its discovery. This book not only gives the thorough theoretical approaches of using Carbon Nanotubes as the future body armor material but also describes the experimental aspects. In the experimental work 3-D macro-structured forms of CNTs were synthesized by utilizing a heteroatom boron doping strategy via novel in-situ chemical vapor deposition set-up. These CNTs are then incorporated in HIPP polymer matrix using Twin-Screw Extruder and Injection molded for Nano composite samples. The properties of CNTs and Nanocomposites are studied and explained in detail.
