After an ill-timed breakup and the death of her mother, Hanna Stevens is a master in the art of pretending to be fine, really. At least she was, until she meets Milo, who seems to have made a hobby of calling her out on her carefully constructed bullshit.
When she's forced to navigate the tricky events leading up to her best friend's wedding to her ex's brother (honestly, could things get any more complicated?) Hanna relies on her quickly developing flirtationship with groomsman Milo to fill the voids left by her losses and keep her from completely crumbling, something Milo happens to be particularly good at.
After a wild bachelor/bachelorette weekend in Vegas, Hanna and Milo have to admit that their friendship isn't the only thing happening between them.
After losing so much, can Hanna even open herself up to that kind of risk again?
