Karen Ezekiel is a political savant whose life turns to chaos after catching the eye of a renowned public figure. The Honorable Judge Joseph Okaro is a lead candidate for the Nigerian Senate. He coerces Karen into an illicit love affair. Joy Okaro is Joseph's wife. She pays Karen to flee the country after the judge impregnates her. The child must be left behind at her insistence.
