It's 1971 and 19-year-old Jack is having a hard enough time coping with sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll without having to handle three dead teenagers hell-bent on revenge. They've already stolen his girlfriend and now they're teaching him riffs so deadly they haven't been heard in over two hundred years. If he doesn't hit the right notes he could lose everything.
Jack's journey takes him from the leafy dormitory town of Westerford to the multicultural vibrancy of Ladbroke Grove, and back. On the way he is seduced into betraying his first true love, freaks out on the orgiastic rituals of a Hellfire Club revival, sees his closest friend busted and imprisoned, and learns that people are not always what they seem.
