I offered her a ticket to Wonderland…
…but that ticket came with an unexected price.
Let me tell you this right now. I'm not a good person. So when I promise to meet someone at five a.m. in the morning outside our high school in a storm drain, please understand that I'm not doing it out of the goodness of my heart. I have a deal to make, a client to satisfy, and a serious case of boredom to get off my books.
Just because I don't know where the stuff in the vials I sell comes from, doesn't mean it won't get you where you're going:
Wonderland.
Care wasn't my friend or anything, just a girl who had a crush on me since third grade. It should have been a quick, easy deal, lucrative for me, and satisfying for her.
It wasn't.
Like I always say, tell someone they're special, make them believe it…and they're yours.
A short story about those who take advantage of innocence, and the illusion that as long as the customer is happy…there's no need to worry about doing anyone any harm.
