Eleanor of Aquitaine, also known as Eleanor of Guyenne, successively Queen of France and Queen of England, lived an eventful life : power and passion, the adventures of the Crusades and chivalrous life, the « Cours d'amour » with their troubadours and trouvères, whilst devoting herself to a family life with her many children. This exceptional woman, who lived to a remarkable age, left an indelible mark on her time.
