In the second installment of the hugely popular Ancient Blood series we have dueling stories.

On the one hand is Adam, struggling with his new life as a vampire but so much more. Adam is trying to take care of the nest left to him once Neku was turned to stone. They all felt their ancient maker's absence, but for Adam, it was much deeper. They'd begun their love affair only a short time before Neku was taken from him, so he missed the life they'd been promised.

Jay asks for their help in finding a serial killer, and the nest jumps at the chance to take their minds from Neku's absence, the possibility of Neku's maker finding them, and more. Will hunting human killers be enough to keep their sorrow at bay?

In the other half of the story, Anna is finally in college, living her dream, but her new powers and responsibilities get in the way. She is looking for a lost girl, and fears a vampire has taken her life. Can the new witches she meets help her find the girl and discover her true power?

A sizzling M/M story about vampires; throw a coven of Medusa witches into the mix, and things may never be the same.
