Description

Since publication of Volume 1 of "Fables from the Funny Farm," I have written a lot of humorous poems mixed in with poems of various types, styles, and interests. This volume is a new compendium of comedy and humor in poetic form of 200 more poems to make you laugh until you cry. My sense of humor has been called contagious and I have been called a real character, an appellation I do not dispute. I have always been an entertainer on the stage and in common life.There are twenty sections with ten poems in each beginning with Coffee and Food, Country Songs to make you laugh out loud, Texans and their humorous escapades, and funny animals both personalized and observed. There is laughing at life and its travails, holiday humor, and then a broad spectrum of fun topics, observations and events.My imagination apparently knows no bounds in a decent and innocent way with double and triple meanings for words, some of which descend to puns, although I prefer the more intellectual twists and turns of comedy.For every person there is a multitude of poems that will be loved and appreciated. I encourage my audience to reread every poem to get the most out of it.
