Tara is struck by a car after shoving her mother out of its way. Trying to move, she realizes she is injured, and cannot walk. The car that struck her had pulled over, the doors open and the two legged get out and walk towards her, Tara tries to get away, but her injury is too great. Giant hands pick her up from the roadside, and carry her back to the car, open the door and put her inside on the floor. Taras heart feels as if would pound out of her chest. She is about to go on the greatest adventure of her life....but will she ever see her family again.
Donna Riley, a lover of outdoors and all the outdoor creatures. She is an avid fisher, kayaker and hiker. She is a proud mother of three daughters and six grandchildren and one great granddaughter. She currently lives in eastern Carolina where she gets many of her ideas for her books from her paddles in the swamp lands, creeks and sounds of the area.
