Hear Me Roar is a story about a young cub named Anna that was bullied by her peers so badly that she ran into the forest to hide her unique gift. This children's book written by Barbara Cox is based on her own autobiography, as she too was bullied at a young age when she opened her mouth to sing among her peers. The author wants all children to never allow anyone to deter them from being who they are called to be - different as well as having a unique sound that will be used for a purpose by God.
