For years, Gregory L. Jones dealt with a stress-related illness-a heart disease that would eventually make him a stronger and better person. The more he ignored the need for stability in his life, the sicker he became. Heart Matters captures the struggles and the victories that Gregory faced over the years, demonstrating how trials create wisdom and how imperfections become stepping stones to miracles.
Gregory L. Jones was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Rosemary Jones and Benjamin Reese. He was one of two biological children. With the hope of overcoming his heart disease, he enrolled in a Thoratec Heart Mate II Research Study, at Advocate Christ Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago. He lived a fairly normal life and had a normal daily routine. He was appointed president of the Jones Family Fund and became a Certified Food Service Manager through the Chicago Department of Public Health. He was an entrepreneur for Jones Family Catering.
Heart Matters was written in memory of the life and legacy of Gregory L. Jones by his loving mother, Rosemary. He was successful and inspired thousands of people. He surrendered to the fact that even though life held confusion and disappointment, with God all things are possible.
