He follows her on a journey that leaves him burned, battered, and nearly dead. By the time Joe realizes that there was a reason he and Evelyn were brought together, she has been taken. With the aid of an old priest in an abandoned cathedral, Joe begins to regain his former glory. He needs to remember who he was before he became a nightmare lurking in the shadows.
