Description

World War II is over. As the noise of battle, the celebrations afterwards, and the voices of friends lost begin to fade, veterans return to a very different America than the one they left. Now the world has entered the age of the split atom, the jet engine, television and the beginning of the cold war. For former Marine F4U pilot Isaac McKillips, and ex-aircraft mechanic Ivan Harvatich, there are many adjustments to the strange new world, but none so strange as the adventure about to draw them in. An adventure that starts with the discovery of some faded blueprints drawn by a dead genius, that leaves them not knowing who to trust. They will discover that though America is no longer threatened by Nazi Germany or the Empire of Japan, she has acquired new enemies and like it or not, McKillips (Mac) and Harvatich (Harv) will be called upon again to stop their country's foes. Of course they won't be able to do it alone and a mysterious red head named Angie comes to their aid. But can she be trusted? Against the backdrop of technology leaping forward towards the space age is the intrigue of a covert Soviet operation inside the US. But there is a larger picture. Something is going on that few can recognize. Man has turned a corner in history and only some with open eyes, such as a Navajo medicine man named Warrez, can see it.
