Josh Billings' Old Farmer's Allminax, 1870-1879 (1902) is a collection of humorous and satirical aphorisms and advice for farmers, written by American humorist and lecturer Henry Wheeler Shaw, who wrote under the pen name Josh Billings. Originally published in the late 19th century, the Allminax contains witty and often irreverent observations on a wide range of topics, from the weather and politics to love and marriage. The book is presented as a series of almanacs, with each year featuring a new set of aphorisms and illustrations.
