Nigellus Trudefeu stood as one of the finest Knights in the Poor Order of Templar Knights stationed in the remote outpost at Susa. A lucrative arrangement between the Sultan Amshere and the Order allowed the Templars to keep a strongpost at Susa as one of the many routes of the Crusades. Nigellus and his brother, Willem Kilfoile, spent many a sleepless night in the desert as escorts to wealthy noblemen and women who desired to see the riches of the strange and foreign lands surrounding Susa.
