Bryant won numerous awards, including two Olympic gold medals consecutively together with his teammates. After sustaining several injuries, including a torn rotator cuff, Kobe Bryant finally announced his retirement from basketball in November 2015 after 20 years of an outstanding basketball career.  

 

Kobe Bryant died tragically with Gianna, his 13-year-old daughter, on 26th January 2020. A helicopter they were boarding crashed in Calabasas suburb, Los Angeles, devastating his family, friends, and effectively the world.
