Little White Crosses is a poignant story of the little white crosses, the small grave sites, we all see and experience as we cross the United States in our cars. There, under those little white crosses, in the cold hard ground, is where a friend or beloved relative died, a brother, a father, a sister, a mother, a child, killed in an accident on a lonely road in the desert, or along a farm road, or on a busy highway, or the roads we all travel on crossing America. They are lonely, timeless markers of some one dear to us and the cross is our homage to them.
