This popular book provides detailed description of the techniques used for the treatment of corrosion using migratory corrosion inhibitors. Steel corrosion problems are common in reinforced concrete structures around the world. The principle of inhibitors is to develop a thin layer, usually one or two molecules thick, on the steel surface, which inhibits corrosion either by forming a protective film on the substrate, or by immobilizing the corrosive species and preventing them from reaching the steel.
