Kya Cadieux has been running for as long as she can remember. She doesn't know who she is running from, or why they want her, but she knows she will never let them catch her again. She is a loner. A nobody. And that's just how she likes it. But when she crashes through Blake's window a whole world opens up to her; love, lust, friendship, family and a community of supernatural beings all united against the very thing she has spent her life trying to escape.
