Grayson just wanted to play baseball. It was a good way to meet the kids in his new town, right? Only the baseball field is deserted and there isn't another kid in sight.
Then, he trips over what he thinks is a root in the woods, only to find out it's a silly, wooden toy wand. But something tells him that maybe he should hold onto it.
Which is when he notices the man-who definitely hadn't been there a few minutes ago-standing on the ball field. Hunch-backed, with crazy, bugged-out eyes, and spiky green and yellow hair, this someone appears to be looking directly at him. Grayson suddenly doesn't want to be seen and attempts to hide in the underbrush.
Just as it seems he'll be discovered, someone tackles him to the ground and hides both herself and Grayson in plain sight, by using a wand of her own.
Magic, it seems, is real... as long as you have a wand.
The trick now is for Grayson and his new friends to keep themselves and their wands away from the man searching for them. The man who wants all of the wands for himself.
