No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service is the true story of two teenagers who hitchhiked from the east coast to Colorado in the summer of 1971 intent on climbing mountains in the Rocky Mountains. Beginning in the first five miles of their journey, they are challenged by mishaps and humorous situations. The book is a look back to a simpler time when hitchhiking was common. After a night of shanagans, the two friends set out on their journey. They intended to drive, but their car brock down after a few miles. By the end of the day, they were behind bars for hichhiking. Everyday brought another mishap. In the end, the two completed their mission and made their way back home.
