Songbook with 30 Songs by Stephen C. Foster, notated for the Ocarina with 10 or 12 holes.
Stephen Collins Foster (1826-1864) was an American composer and probably the best-known songwriter of the time. Many of his compositions - above all: Camptown Races, Oh Susanna and Beautiful Dreamer - are still known today and are an integral part of the US-American culture.
The tones of the melodies were prepared with fingerings for the Ocarina, the rhythm of the tones is given by the lyrics and/or the classical notation.
The sounds of the songs (melody with backing band and backing band alone - "Playalong") are available online in a sound player with adjustable playback speed.
Videos explain how to read music, web address and access data in the book.
