As the summertime heat presses down on the city of New Jericho, like a plastic bag over a face of neon and concrete, Krys Rorton goes about his daily business with well-worn precision and the same thoughtless repetition of all the overworked denizens of the urban sprawl. On this day though, a violent memory falls into the edge-worn gears of his life and brings his normality to a grinding stop. A highway suicide, a string of violent hallucinations, and an army of faceless agents drive him across the crowded city in search of the answer to a deceptively simple question. Who am I?
