The wide range of industrial applications for piezoelectric bending transducers as actuators and high-precision positioning systems requires their performance to be adapted to the respective task. The benefits of the analytical description obtained are demonstrated based on real measurements on a monomorph in multilayer technology. The requirements for understanding the material are limited to basic knowledge of one- and multidimensional analysis as well as elementary Newtonian mechanics, technical mechanics and electricity.
