Songbook with 10 pieces from the "Notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach" for the Ukulele.
After the death of his first wife, the German composer Johann Sebastian Bach married Anna Magdalena Wilcken in 1721. In 1725 he gave her a valuable book of music with a precious binding and gold initials. Presumably in connection with music-making in the large Bach family, a collection of pieces by different authors and composers, in various manuscripts, was created. The sheet music contained different works, such as simple dance movements, artistic harpsichord works and also some vocal pieces, which were probably interpreted by the trained singer Anna Magdalena Bach. Ten pieces from this song collection can be found in this songbook for the ukulele.
All songs are notated with tabs for fingerpicking with the Ukulele, the arrangements are easy to moderately difficult - for slightly advanced and advanced fans of the Ukulele.
The recordings of the songs are available online in an audio player with adjustable playback speed, web address in the book.
