Description

Poetry as Therapy - a collection of empowering shorts poems exploring a range of emotions from love to loss and everything in between. The book offers an exploration into each emotion through the associated life lessons and self-enquiry questions.

This book is written for those who simply enjoy poetry to those who are on a path of self-discovery and transformation.

I am Sarah Barbour, a poet, writer and intuitive coach. I live in a small coastal town in Scotland with my husband and daughter.

I have worked for the NHS in Scotland for 25 years working in corporate roles; specialising in continual personal and professional development, education, quality improvement and project management. During this time, the development of people has been the most enjoyable and rewarding part of my career.

I started writing poetry during the COVID pandemic in 2021. I learned that poetry can help to process and unlock emotions. I enjoy working with people to help them connect to their emotions through my poetry and through 1:1 coaching.

I believe that we all have so much potential; we just need to learn to quite the external noise and connect to our inner wisdom.
