When a devastated Imani confronts Davarius with the information given to her by the private investigator she hired, she is met with some of her own secrets being thrown in her face. With Davarius now having the upper hand, things tend to get heated between the two which lands him behind bars. Upon his release, however, Davarius suddenly has a change of heart and the only thing on mind is getting his family back. With so much dirt being thrown his way and the coldness he receives from Imani, Davarius begins to feel doubtful that the love they once shared will ever happen again.

Imani, on the other hand, isn't trying to hear anything Davarius has to say. Finding out that he already has a child with someone else and another baby on the way with Nay Nay, is all the ammo she needed to want to end their marriage. Despite her love for Davarius and her own little affair with Torrid, Imani just can't seem to get past her husband's infidelities. In her eyes, her divorce is going to be the beginning of her happy ever after, but Torrid is hiding his own skeletons that will surely put their future on hold.

In the midst of all of their drama, Nay Nay begins hooking up with an old boo thinking that things will be different than before. Not long after rekindling the flame, she realizes that things are actually worse than before and wonders why she even contacted him in the first place. Without thinking of anyone else but herself and her baby, Nay Nay makes a decision that is bound to tear her and Davarius apart for good.
