Description

Let me tell you a story about how my working on a farm will help your devotion to Mary.

Back in my early teens, my younger brother and I used to help on a farm some of our relatives had.

While on the farm, I saw an old water well. My great grandmother and grandparents used to tell me about drawing water from the well.

Imagine how tiring it was to have to go out to a well, pump water by hand, and then lug the water back to the house.

Thankfully, today all you have to do is go to your faucet, turn it on, and water comes out.

This is a nice reminder of how there are two types of devotion to Mary.

You see, St. Louis de Montfort says most people practice their devotion to Mary as if they're drawing water from a well.

This book shows you how to practice your devotion to Mary like you're turning on a faucet.

I'll let St. Louis tell you about it. He wrote...

"Predestinate soul, here is a secret the Most High has taught me, which I have not been able to find in any book, old or new. I confide it to you, by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit" ("The Secret of Mary", #1).

Any devotion to Mary which God reveals has to be the best devotion to her, because no one can outdo Him.

There are countless books you could choose from to prepare for your consecration to Mary.

All of them can work, but that doesn't mean they're all created equally.

None were written by a Montfort Father who was also St. Louis' biographer, as Fr. Texier was.

And none ever received an endorsement from the Montfort Fathers like this one has. Here's what they said about it...

"These meditations are the work of a Montfortian missionary, about whom we have said: "He loved the Most Blessed Virgin with the heart of a child; he spoke of her with the heart of his Blessed Father (St. Louis)."

And in the history of their religious order, they called Fr. Texier "a remarkable spiritual writer."

That's why this guide for preparing for your consecration to Mary is a solid option.

In case you're still trying to decide about whether or not to consecrate yourself to Mary, St. Louis warns that taking any other path to God will make your life much harder...

"It is true that we can attain to divine union by other roads; but it is by many more crosses and exceptional setbacks, and with many more difficulties, which we shall find it hard to overcome" ("True Devotion to Mary", #152).

That's drawing water from a well.

On the other hand, he calls this devotion which God revealed to him...

"...a path of roses and honey compared with the other paths" (True Devotion, #152).

That's turning on a faucet.

After discussing Mary's close relationship with each of the divine Persons of the Holy Trinity, St. Louis asks...

"After so many and such pressing examples of the Most Holy Trinity, can we, without an extreme blindness, dispense ourselves from Mary and consecrate ourselves to her, and depend on her to go to God, and to sacrifice ourselves to God?" (True Devotion, #140)

That means any thoughts of ignoring this devotion or of delaying to put it into practice can't possibly come from God. Because God will never tell you to ignore His own example or to delay putting into practice a devotion He revealed.

God gives us this backdrop to human history...

"The Lord God then asked the woman: "Why did you do such a thing?" And she answered: "The serpent deceived me, and I did eat" (Gen. 3:13).

If Eve responded immediately to the wicked suggestion of the devil...

Doesn't it make much more sense for you to get started following Jesus just as quickly on the path of this devotion to His holy Mother?

I think you know the answer. Your next step is easy: Just order your copy of this book today, and let Our Lady prepare you for your consecration to her, and lead you to her Son.
