Soren emerges from his rejuvenation tank to find he's no longer technically alive. Where once he was both Dr. Frankenstein AND the Frankenstein monster, now he's just the monster.

All that remains of his higher consciousness resides in the mindchip. Unless he can reanimate his body, that's where it'll stay. But the monster is learning to block access to the mindchip more and more with each passing day.
