Description

Ivan Carbon Moore, who early on became known (with no pun intended) as I. C. Moore, was born a star that was first visible in a certain small community in rural Alabama. This star grew in brilliancy until it was one of the brightest in the athletic universe and could be clearly seen throughout the United Sates.

Virtually all professional scouts agreed that I. C. had the potential to become the best quarterback to ever play in the National Football League. The young star made firm plans to use a portion of his mind-boggling anticipated NFL salary to fulfill his dream of moving his mother and disabled father out of their humble economic status. There was something else he planned to do. It was sealed with a ring. He was going to marry Mariah Martin, his high-school sweetheart.

Neither of these plans made by I. C. would come to pass, for God had other plans for him. While there was a period of darkness associated to Mariah being disloyal and to an accident in which he miraculously survived, eventually morning would come filled with grace. The blindness he suffered in the accident brought a clearer spiritual vision and it brought to him and Esther, his beautiful angelic wife, the deep and abiding joy that comes from being in the center of God's will.
