Description

The Korean War had taken the lives of many, including Tessa's father. The Vietnam War was shaping up to be just as deadly.

Tessa is dragged to a dance with her best friend Imogen, where she meets four soldiers, who are preparing to ship out to Vietnam. Archer, Quinn, Felix and Tobias, are fun guys who she comes to find out are in the same unit that Oliver, Tessa's brother. When Tessa spends the night dancing and playing a game of truth or dare, she gets to know them far better.

However, when Tessa's mother catches her in bed with one of the boys, she is sent to live with her Aunty. An Aunt that Tessa didn't even know she had. To Tessa's surprise her Aunty lives in a polyamorous relationship with three men, and is a free loving hippie. Suddenly living with the stress that Oliver and the men she has come to care about are fighting a war that she doesn't understand, isn't so hard. However, just because she is living with hippies, who believe in alternate love, doesn't mean that everyone understands, in particular Tessa's mother.

But what happens when Tessa discovers she is pregnant? How will her mother react to the news? Is it possible to keep it away from her? And how will she break the news to the father of the baby?

This is a Coming of Age romance, with mention of sex and some bad language and violence. Suited to 15+ Steam Level 2/5
