Connie Kellar Jones grew up in Bellevue, Ohio. She then attended and graduated from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas, before returning to Ohio to graduate with a masters in theatre from Bowling Green State University. After moving back to Texas, she was the founder and director of the Graham Cracker Theatre in Graham, Texas. Later, she headed the theater department of Southwest Texas Junior College in Uvalde, Texas. Now retired, she lives in San Antonio where she is happy to be the day care for her two youngest grandchildren. Squeaky, the cat who lives on her patio, is their favorite playmate.
