This is the LARGE PRINT of Strange Words: Poems and Prayers. It is an effective source of healing, realignment, encouragement, and inspiration.
Poetry:
Poetry is the most esoteric and secret way of writing. Yet, it is also entirely unguarded. As it doesn't need to make sense from a logical point of view nor have any specific structure, it is free to be as deep, distressed, broken, elated, pure, or heavenly as it wants.
Prayer:
Life has many ups and downs in all areas, such as relationships, health, finance, work, and personal aspirations. We need to pray through it all. We don't need to pray because God requires us to explain what is happening and what should be happening. That would be ridiculous. It would be like a tiny drop of water in the ocean telling the vastness of the current which way to move. The water doesn't even direct itself. It is pulled by the moon this way and that. And beyond the moon, there are forces so immense and complex that they are unfathomable. We need to pray because the devotional mentality of humbly asking for help makes us available to receive that help gratefully and happily.
