PREFACE: THE object of this work is to help those who are engaged in the weaving industry to obtain a fuller knowledge of the mechanism and management of the loom. At the same time it is hoped that the book will suppIy a much needed addition to the scanty literature at present available on this particular branch of the manufacturing processes.
