Carl L. George is a husband, father, Baptist pastor and teacher currently living in the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area. After graduating from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas, he planted and pastored several churches in Florida before starting a church in Utah. As a church planter in Utah, Carl had the privilege of sharing his faith with hundreds of members of the LDS church and, as a result, he experienced first hand the frustration of maintaining a caring dialogue with members and leaders of the LDS church. In an attempt to better facilitate communication between LDS and non-LDS, he has written "Thank You for The Book of Mormon: A Christian Friend's Response."
