"The Adventures of Bronty, Life Goes On", Volume VIII is mostly about friendships and the closeness of family. Bronty, Rex and Cory have formed a bond of friendship and it will continue to grow and get stronger and stronger. They have become the go-to guys for the herd when it comes to looking for and finding caves for their growing herd. On one such venture, they find a cave complete with dinosaurs in it that have lived there for a long time. They come out only at night because they are afraid of all the other dinosaurs. As it turns out the adult male knew Bronty's real mother. He had recognized Bronty by a birthmark he has behind his right ear. They become very close and Bronty calls him his Uncle. Young Bronty is being consumed by the gifts of his heritage. He is having difficulty accepting what is becoming. He is being pulled many different ways and is having problems coming to terms with it.
