Description

Does this sound familiar? "Mom, Dad, I need, I want, all my friends have ______ (insert the latest "gotta-have" here).

Looking for a fun way to teach your kids about money - where it comes from, where it has to go first, why they can't just have everything they want?

Khloe is a precocious 8-year-old girl who lives with her family in in New York City. Jayden, Khloe's best friend since they were very little, lives in an apartment down the hall from Khloe, and he's an eager accomplice in her antics. One night, Khloe overhears her mom talking about money growing on trees. She can't wait to go find some of those trees so she and her family can have everything they want! After school the next day, as Khloe begins her search, Jayden notices her looking around and asks what she's doing. Khloe enthusiastically tells Jayden all about the money trees. Together they look high and low, but after searching for hours, with darkness settling in, Khloe and Jayden realize it's late and give up for the day. They run home and burst into Khloe's apartment to share their excitement with her mom, but her mom only looks at her worried and bewildered, and then chuckles. Why is she chuckling?
