
Life in a small town is often lived in the slow lane. But when Tory arrives in the small town of Brennan's Bay, New Brunswick, she comes to learn that the inhabitants are as colourful as the buildings, and that there is more going on in the sleepy, little town than anyone realized. Along with her friends Art, Maddy, and Sheriff Mac, Tory finds herself twisted up in the mysteries she only ever wanted to watch on television.
Tory Wallace didn't like surprises. Her life might have been considered boring and simple, but it was the way she wanted it. So, when she finds the dead body of the famous media magnate, George Cahill, in her closet, her world tips on its axis and she finds herself stumbling right into the middle of a full-blown murder mystery, swirling in the tiny seaside town of Brennan's Bay.
