This work presents a detailed eschatological vision of the end times, the final judgment, and the nature of the eternal state. It begins by describing the current inhabitants of heaven: angels, the church (saints), and the spirits of deceased children deemed innocent until the age of accountability. A key distinction is made between these groups; saints are part of the church and will be Christ's bride, while children are not and will have a different eternal destiny.
The book explains the sequence of resurrections. The first resurrection is for the saints, who will receive glorified, celestial bodies and reign with Christ during the Millennium. The second resurrection, after the Millennium, is for the children of God and unbelievers. The children will receive terrestrial, flesh-and-blood bodies, similar to Adam's before the fall, enabling them to marry and have offspring on the new earth. Unbelievers will face the resurrection of condemnation at the Great White Throne Judgment, where they will be sentenced by the saints to the lake of fire based on their rejection of salvation and their earthly works.
The final section describes the destruction of the current, defiled heavens and earth by fire and the creation of a new, vast earth without seas. This new earth will be inhabited by the children of God, who will live an agricultural, family-oriented life in a perfect, sin-free environment. The New Jerusalem, a colossal heavenly city prepared by God, will descend to earth. It will be inhabited by God the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, angels, and the saints. The saints will serve eternally as priests, worshipping before God's throne, and as kings, reigning over and shepherding the nations of the new earth from this glorious city.
